Welcome to Millikin!

Millikin Basics+ Elementary School is an alternative educational program open to all children in the Santa Clara Unified School District.

The primary emphasis of the Basics+ program is the mastery of basic academic skills and establishment of good study habits. High standards of performance, accountability, and behavior are maintained. The program places greater responsibility on parents to develop the individual personal growth and responsibility of their children. The school places an emphasis on achieving proficiency in academic skills.

MILLIKIN BASICS + is now a Uniform School

Thank you to all the parents and families for supporting the new Uniform program. Your students look amazing.

Some questions have come up about certain items of clothing and I want to update you on a couple of items.

UNIFORM CLARIFICATION: Students are allowed to wear long or short sleeve polo shirts. Also plain sweaters and sweatshirts are acceptable in the classroom as long as they are grey, white or navy or royal blue. Sorry that the Wednesday Envelope only indicates Millikin sweatshirts in the classroom.
